- Upgrade to Spotify PremiumWhile Spotify’s free tier allows you to stream podcasts, offline downloads are available only to Spotify Premium subscribers. If you’re not a Premium member, you’ll need to upgrade to access this feature.
- Open the Spotify AppMake sure you have the latest version of the Spotify app installed on your device, whether it’s on mobile (iOS or Android) or desktop (Windows or macOS).
- Find the PodcastUse the search function to locate the podcast you want to download. You can search by podcast name, host, or keywords related to the podcast.
- Download EpisodesOnce you’re on the podcast’s page, you’ll see a list of episodes. To download a specific episode, tap the download icon (a downward arrow) next to the episode title. For mobile devices, this icon is located next to each episode in the podcast list. On desktop, you might need to right-click on the episode and select the download option.
- Access Your DownloadsTo access your downloaded podcasts, go to the “Your Library” section of the Spotify app. Under the “Podcasts” tab, you’ll find your downloaded episodes listed. You can play them anytime without an internet connection.
- Manage Your StorageIf you’re concerned about storage space, you can manage your downloads within the app’s settings. This includes removing old episodes or adjusting download preferences.
